The commute stayed exactly the same in October. Grey dashboard, grey traffic, no idea it was even Halloween.

Seasonal decorating tends to stop at the front door — the car, the balcony plant pot, the desk at work all miss out entirely, even though they're where a lot of October actually happens. A pumpkin on the porch doesn't help much at 8am on the M60.

This one goes wherever the gap is. Resin, 15cm, ghost-and-pumpkin design with real detail up close — dashboard, windowsill, balcony garden, plant pot, bedroom shelf, wherever needs a bit of playful spook and doesn't currently have one. Small enough to sit anywhere, sturdy enough to actually stay put.
